The nation's leading provider of software solutions for workforce development, employment, and training.

Geographic Solutions Company Overview

Established in 1992, Geographic Solutions, Inc. has become the nation's leading provider of software solutions for workforce development, employment, and training. We have developed state-of-the-art systems for employment and workforce development agencies in more than 30 states. Our software is available to over 75% of the job seekers and employers in the country.

Our staff has decades of combined experience in developing workforce development systems. In fact, more than 85% of our in-house staff is technical, including advanced web designers, graphic artists, geographic information system specialists, website developers, technical writers, online help specialists, network administrators, and database designers. Our professional staff includes certified Oracle, SQL Server, and Microsoft-certified developers.

Geographic Solutions is a privately-owned company with a corporate office located in the historic district of Palm Harbor, Florida. Our corporate office, originally built in 1893 as the Palm Harbor General Store, was renovated to house our corporate headquarters in 1999. In July 2001, our new development center was opened down the street from the corporate building. Later we acquired additional buildings to accommodate our growing production, management, and support team. The six-building campus houses our cutting-edge data network and features a secure server room with raised floors, state-of-the-art fiber optics and a redundant infrastructure.

In 2009, the U.S. Administration passed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The ARRA earmarked an investment of $3.95 Billion for workforce stimulation. Each workforce development board was allotted a certain amount of funding that they were required to use for workforce stimulating programs, software and services. With the passing of ARRA, workforce agencies were also required to keep track of how many individuals they touched on, especially in respect to summer youth and green jobs; both being key initiatives. In response to the ARRA, Geographic Solutions specifically tailored our software packages to give workforce staff the ability to produce instant, federally-mandated reports.

In order to handle this welcomed increase in projects, we recruited some of the BEST talent out there. Our recent expansion has brought most of our buildings to capacity. Geographic Solutions is excited to announce the groundbreaking of a new facility with sufficient room to handle recent and future growth. All 170+ employees between our corporate headquarters in Florida and our branch office in Salinas, California, are dedicated to providing the best in workforce development solutions and world-class customer service to each and every one of our clients.
