Core Services for Employers

The Virtual One Stop Core Services for Employers module includes key employer functions that are beneficial for resource management and labor research purposes. The user-friendly interface, accessed via the Internet, is designed to assist employers in finding candidates for open job positions, posting job orders, and reviewing current labor market information. The Core Services for Employers module has several components, conveniently available on a single Web site. Available components are:

The Labor Market Services component allows employers to review area profile statistics on Population, Wages, Employment Services, and Unemployment Claimants. Another feature in this component is the Occupational Profile, used to research facts and wages on occupations chosen by the employer.

The Industry Information function offers summaries of a targeted industry group or specific occupation. Detailed knowledge about the occupation is accessed by clicking a link on the summary page.

The Education Services component lists training providers and schools for the chosen region, area, or state. Additionally, it has comprehensive information on training and education programs, including contact and course information. Employers benefit from the convenience of the education services functions since they are logically grouped in one Web site instead of multiple college sites.

Within this software module, employers can easily conduct valuable research on employment to cope with today’s labor force opportunities and challenging business climate.
